1. From the open keyboard, tap the 123 Sym key to access the numbers keyboard.
2. Tap Sym ABC to access the symbols keyboard.
3. From the 1/4 key, tap the Left or Right Arrows to view more symbols.
4. Tap ABC 123 to return to the letter keyboard.

Swype

1. From the open keyboard, tap the 123 +!= key to access the numbers keyboard.
2. Tap the More symbols key to view more symbols.
3. Tap the ABC key to return to the letter keyboard.

On-screen keyboard settings

To adjust on-screen keyboard settings, follow these steps:
1. When the keyboard is open, touch and hold on the Microphone key.
2. Tap the Settings icon and release your finger to enter the On-screen keyboard settings.
3. Tap to adjust the On-screen keyboard settings as desired.

4. When finished, tap the Back key until you return to the open keyboard.

1. From any Home screen, tap the Menu key.
2. Tap Settings.
3. Tap Language and keyboard.
4. Tap the Settings icon next to Samsung keyboard to enter the On-screen keyboard settings.
