2. DISASSEMBLY

Note:
1. When disassembling and reassembling the main unit, the LCD and the battery cover, always be sure to use the air
leak tester (VJ8-0303) and the SG415 air leak tester cradle (VJ8-0334) to test for air leaks and to check that the
waterproof mechanism is functioning normally.
Refer to the Instruction Manual provided with the air leak test tool for details on how to carry out the air leak test.
2. This camera uses waterproof packing. It is recommended that you replace the waterproof packing approximately
once every year. The waterproof packing is supplied in the COMPL, MENTE KIT-SG415 (P/No. 636 145 0157),
COMPL, MENTE KIT-SG415J2 (P/No. 636 145 0164), COMPL, MENTE KIT-SG415J3 (P/No. 636 145 0188) and
COMPL, MENTE KIT-SG415J7 (P/No. 636 145 3455) shown in the table. These parts can also be supplied as single
parts.
