cord that is connected to your charging source (solar panel, hand
crank, windmill, etc.) into the DC 24V Anderson Powerpole slots on the
back of the unit (see C). While unit is charging, the LCD display will show
a flashing lightning bolt and the charge level, which is indicated by the
battery charge status bar. Once the unit is fully charged, the lightning
bolt symbol will disappear and all six levels of the battery status bar will
be full. Before unplugging the DC cord and powering down the unit, wait
15-20 minutes to make sure the cells have balanced.
• Attention: This unit will accept ONLY 24-volt DC sources. If any other
VDC is used, the unit will be damaged.

AC Usage Outlets

WARNING
Never use a damaged or frayed AC
cord; electrical shock can occur if
AC cord is damaged or frayed. If
AC cord is damaged, replace with a
new cord before proceeding with
AC usage (request replacements
via Contact Information on page 2).
• To use your AC outlets, first turn on the inverter by switching the main
AC power switch (see D) to the ON position. A green LED indicator will
light up to confirm the power has been switched on.
• Once on, the outlets will work like normal AC wall outlets in your home;
just plug in the devices you want to run.
• If you do not plug in an AC cord within 60 seconds or if the unit
otherwise fails to detect AC output after 60 seconds, a built-in safety
feature will automatically cut power to the AC output ports.
• When using large AC loads (above 800 watts), it is common to see the
lightning bolt on the LCD display flash periodically. This is caused by
electromagnetic activity within the unit and is normal. Turning the
master power key to off and then on again will often stop the symbol
from flashing.
• The watt meter, found on the bottom row of the LCD display, shows the
amount of energy being used by the inverter. Please note this energy
output is an estimation, and actual output may vary from displayed
values.
• Because the watt meter measures inverter output, it will show
wattage only for loads plugged into the AC output ports. This meter will
never display energy output from DC ports.
