  • Page 4 HOW TO OPERATE YOUR CHAIR ARMRESTS The Glide range of commodes all come standard with Flip Up style non -removable armrests. To operate simply lift armrest up ensuring that it is level with backrest before transferring onto or off commode.
  • Page 5 To release - using foot, press down release button on top of castor. GL20, GL30 and GL35 all have “Pull On” (when seated in commode) lever brakes fitted as standard. To operate simply pull brake lever towards you until it locks into place. To release is the reverse of this procedure. (Push brake lever away from you).
  • Page 6 8. All shower and toilet modification should meet AS1428.2 9. If there is a need for a lap type posture restraining belt to be fitted to the Commode Chair we rec ommend that you contact your nearest agent or Glide Rehabilitation Products direct for correct fitting procedures.
  • Page 7 The GL25 and GL30 are the only models of the Glide range of commodes that are specifically designed to be transported in a vehicle. By removing the seat, backrest, seat and footrests the commode can be folded up and placed easily into the cargo space of vehicles WARNING: Wheelchairs in vehicles must be safely s ecured or stored securely outside the passenger compartment.
