Unable to log in to Console port

Possible Cause
The console is incorrectly connected to the unit.
Possible Solution
For instructions on creating and configuring a console connection, in
Chapter 2, see Step 2—Connecting a Console on page 17.
Possible Cause
The console is not connected to the unit with a null-modem cable.
Possible Solution
Make sure that you are using a null-modem cable. See APPENDIX
B, Cables.
Possible Cause
The terminal settings are incorrect.
Possible Solution
Make sure that the terminal settings are: 8 data, 1 stop, no parity, 9600
bps, no flow control.
Possible Cause
The unit or file system is defective.
