Remove the fuel filter

Close-off the fuel supply to the engine. Remove the
entire filter with the aid of a special tool. It is possible
that the filter still contains some fuel, which please
collect and treat it in accordance with the environ-
mental directives in your country.

around the fuel system and avoid open
fire.

Fit the fuel filter

Clean the surface to touch the engine before fitting
the filter. Grease the rubber ring with clean engine oil.
Fill the filter with clean diesel fuel. Position the filter
against the filter housing and tighten it with one half
to three quarters of a turn.
Clean the filter of the fuel lift pump and reopen the
cock of the fuel supply.
