Error and Status indications

The following Error or Status indications may be displayed while operating the unit or
CD Changer.
Abnormal disc change function
(CD Changer only)
The disc is inserted upsidedown.
The disc is dirty.
Excessive temperature in this unit
or CD Changer is detected.

Magazine is not fully inserted into
the CD Changer.
(CD Changer only)
There are no discs in the maga-

There is not a disc in the slot No. 2
of magazine.

Before Wiring and Installation

General
This unit is designed to be operated on + 12 volt DC negative ground electrical
l
systems. The unit cannot be operated on + 24 volt or positive ground electrical sys-
terns.
According to this manual, wire and install the unit. If you are not confident in your
l
ability to install the unit correctly, have it installed by a proffesional mobile electron-
installation technician.
Remove a transport screw and make all electrical
l
connections before
Cause
installing the unit.
Remedv
Contact your place of purchase.
Take out the disc and insert it with
label side facing up.
Clean the disc.
Allow the car and / or the CD
Changer location to cool. The indi-
cation disappears when the tem-
perature decreases.
Completely insert the magazine
into the changer until1 it clicks in
place.
Insert the discs into the magazine.
The indication disappears when
you insert a disc into the slot No.%
