Configuring L2 Multicast Features (CLI)

This section provides information about the commands you use to configure
L2 multicast settings on the switch. For more information about the
commands, see the
Reference Guide
(PIM/IGMP) utilizes a separate forwarding database from L2 multicast, it is
recommended that L3 multicast features, including PIM and IGMP , be
disabled on L2 multicast enabled switches.

Configuring Layer 2 Multicasting

Beginning in Privileged EXEC mode, use the following commands to
configure MAC address table features.
