Setting the date and time

In the "Date/Time" setup menu, you can set the date and time displayed on your
MusicCAST server and connected MusicCAST clients. This setup menu has been
separated into two menus (auto and manual) to improve ease of use. Also, you can
now switch between 12-hour and 24-hour time display formats.
To set the date and time automatically
(with the NTP server)
Follow the procedure below to set the date and time automatically.

Select "Top Menu" ➞ "System Setup" ➞ "Date/Time" ➞ "Auto
Setup".
The Date/Time Auto Setup screen appears.

Press SELECT to place a check in the "Use NTP server" checkbox,
and then use u/j/d/i to select "Server Address" and press i.
The server address entry screen appears.

Use u/j/d/i and SELECT to enter the NTP server address, and then
select "OK" and press SELECT.
To cancel entering the server address, select "Cancel" and press SELECT.
The Date/Time Auto Setup screen reappears.
NTP server
To use the NTP server, the
MusicCAST server must be
connected to the Internet.

The NTP server address varies
depending on your Internet
environment. For details, refer to
page 117 of the MCX-1000
