Controlling the TV
When you set the TVIDVD switch to TV, you
can control the following items with the
supplied remote.
By pressing

I/O
Turn the TV on or off
VOL +-I-
Adjust the volume of the TV
WIDE MODE
TV/VIDEO
Switch to or from the wide
mode of a Sony wide TV
Switch the TV's input source
between the TV and other input
sources
CH +/-, number
Select the channel of the TV
buttons, and
ENTER

Scroll key

Slide the TV/ND switch to DVD.
2 While holding down I/&, press down on
the scroll key.
"AV P-90" appears in the LCD screen.

Release I/O.
4 Toggle the scroll key up or down to
select your AV amplifier (receiver's)
manufacturer's code (see the table
below).
5 Press down on the scroll key.
The manufacturer's code flashes and the
remote is set.
Code numbers of controllable AV
amplifiers (receivers)
If more than one code number is listed, try
entering them one at a time until you find the
one that works with your AV amplifier
(receiver).
If you do not connect an AV amplifier
(receiver), you can control your TV's volume
by setting the code number to 90 (default).
However, you must fist set the code number
of controllable TVs as explained above.
