RADIO CALLS

MAKING A SELECTIVE CALL

You can make a selective call to a particular radio
or group of radios, provided the signalling
protocol supports it.
To make a Selective Call:

to enter Menu Mode.

until

to select
Radio Call

Selective Call

to select
Selective Call

or
to locate the desired ID in the
Radio Call List.
or–
when using the keypad microphone only, enter
the ID number of the radio you want to call.

Press the PTT to send the call. The radio
sounds a continuous tone.

Press the PTT to talk; release it to listen.

When finished with the call,

to return to
Selective Call
–or–
t
Hold down
to exit Menu Mode.

RECEIVING A SELECTIVE CALL

When you receive a selective call:
You will hear two alert tones.
The LED Indicator flashes yellow.

The LCD screen displays
preprogrammed name or ID of the calling
radio, if available.
