Paging — SUMMARY
Allows you to make a voice announcement to several people at the same time. Your
message is announced over the built-in speakers of proprietary telephones (PT) and/or
external speakers. The paged person can answer your page from a nearby telephone.
There are three types of paging as shown below. You can select the appropriate type
according to your needs.
Paging — All
Paging — External
Paging — Group
Conditions
• To answer the page, refer to "Paging — ANSWER".
• The paged extension users hear a confirmation tone before the voice announcement.
• A confirmation tone from external pagers (External Pager Confirmation Tone) is audible
at the paged side, before the voice announcement. Eliminating the tone is programmable.
• A confirmation tone is audible before making the voice announcement. Eliminating the
tone is programmable.
• With the KX-T7431, KX-T7433, KX-T7436 and KX-T7235, you can execute "Paging"
feature using the display operation.
