Engine Oil Pressure Low Warning
If the oil pressure does not rise to spec-
ification, "LOW OIL PRESS" will appear
on the tachometer of the affected engine
and the buzzer sounds intermittently.
At the same time, the engine speed is
limited to help prevent damage. If this
occurs, reduce the engine speed, return
to shore or maneuver to a safe loca-
tion, and check the engine oil level (see
page 3-2 for engine oil level checking
procedures). If the oil level is low, add
enough engine oil to raise it to the proper
level. If the oil level is sufficient, have a
Yamaha dealer check the engine.
Check Engine Warning
If an engine sensor malfunction or
a short circuit is detected, "CHECK
ENGINE" will appear on the LCD of the
affected engine and the buzzer sounds
intermittently. If this occurs, reduce the
engine speed, return to shore, and have
a Yamaha dealer check the engine.
Low / High Battery Voltage Warning
If either the High or Low battery
warnings appear, check the battery
connection. If the battery connections
are clean and tight and the warning
indication continues, have your Yamaha
dealer check the charging system.

Press this switch to turn on the blower
to ventilate the engine compartment.

Bilge Pump
Press this switch to activate the bilge
pump. See page 3-8.
Stereo
This is the master control for the stereo
system. Press this switch to allow CD or
radio operation.

Gasoline vapors can explode.
Operate blower for at least 4 minutes and
