Connection using a LAN

You need to upgrade the system using the optional PCS-
UC161 Upgrade Kit. You can connect on a LAN. Use the UTP
(Unshielded Twisted Pair) category 5 cable.

Note
Set the mode setting (communication speed and half-/full-
dulex) of the hub to the automatic or half-duplex mode. The
setting of the PCS-1600/1600P is set to the automatic mode.
