3. APPLYING THE GREASE

The points to grease with a special tool are shown below.
Apply a thin coat of grease to the specified points. See the Part Catalog for details of the
printer disassembling and reassembling procedures.
Take special care not to apply grease to the wiper or the cap when
greasing the guide shaft.
