3.35 Manual Feed Mode

While the Manual Feed Mode function is activated, every time one sheet has been
scanned, the next sheet can be scanned without instructing the scanner to scan it.
IMPORTANT NOTES:
• Some applications may not support the Manual Feed Mode function.
• Scanning does not stop if the application does not come with a cancel function. In
a case like this, scanning can be stopped by pressing the STOP/START button or
opening the scanner door (cover).
• With the ISIS driver, the Manual Feed Mode function cannot be used with flatbed
scanning.
ISIS configuration method
1 Select the target mode in the [Manual Feed Mode] section of the [Advanced
Settings] dialog box.
Off:
The Manual Feed Mode is not used.
On:
The documents are inserted manually one sheet at a time. Scanning starts
when a sheet is inserted. The scanner does not stop even after the first
sheet has been scanned. Scanning continues when the next sheet is
inserted.
Wait Key:
When documents are placed on the scanner and the scanner's STOP/
START key is pressed, scanning starts. When all the placed sheets have
been scanned, the scanner returns to the paper wait status, and when the
next document is placed on the scanner and the scanner's STOP/START
