A beep sounds and display shows ORIGINAL JAM, if an original jams.
(If the ERROR lamp lights when the original jams, press -1
before operating below.)

Lift the operation panel forward.

Raise the document release lever.
Remove the jammed original while press-
ing the green release lever.
Reposition the release lever and
the operation panel.
