Phone reservation
This feature allows you to start a phone conversation after sending or receiving
a fax.

Lift the handset during fax transmission.
When the fax transmission is com-
pleted, a beep sounds at the other
side for 14 seconds.

When the other party picks up the handset, you hear a beep. Talk to
the other party.
Lift the handset during fax reception.
When reception is completed, a beep
sounds at the other side for 7 seconds.

When the other party picks up the handset, you hear a beep.
Talk to the other party.
If you lift the handset and replace it, phone reservation is canceled.
9 If the other party does not pick up the handset while the beep sounds, the
phone line will be disconnected.
If the other unit does not have phone reservation function, the phone line will
be disconnected.
