Place the mode switch in the Stereo position.

Switch the Select control alternately between the Tuner position and the
appropriate Phono position.
5.
Adjust the appropriate pair of Phono Level controls until the same volume
level is obtained from bath the tuner and the turntable. Clockwise rotation
increases the phono level.
6.
Be gure that the right and left channels alg~ are equal in volume.
If a monophonic record is not available, a stereo record may be used.
Tuner
1.
Place the Select control in the Tuner position.
2.
Qperate the tuner according to the instructions supplied with it.
3.
Adjust the Volume, Bass, Treble and ether controls as desired.
AuxiliarySource
An auxiliary program source such as a cassette tape player or another tuner may
be connected to the Aux inputs.
1.
Turn the Select control to the Aux position.
2.
Qperate the auxiliary program source according to its instructions.
3.
Adjust the Volume, Bass, Treble and ether controls as desired.
Tape Recording
The signal being played over the pre-amplifier is present at all three tape record
outputs for recording on tape. While you are recording, the Volume, Bass,
Treble, Balance and Filters can be adjusted as you desire since they have no
effect on the recording; the signal is recorded as it Games from the program.
Choose the program source with the Select control.
Monitoringa Recording
If the tape deck you are using is a three-head type, you can monitor a recording
in progress by placing the Tape Select switch in the appropriate A or B position
and activating the Monitor switch. A recording being made with the tape deck
connect to a Tape A terminals can alg~ be monitored by leaving the Tape Select
switch in the Source position and activating the Monitorswitch. Therefore, ifyou
have only ene tape deck, it should be connected to the Tape A terminals.
Tape Playback
To playback on a tape deck connected to the Tape A terminals, place the Tape
Select switch in the A or the Source position and activate the Monitor switch.
Playback on a tape deck connected to the Tape B terminals can be accomplished
by placing the Tape Select switch in the B position and activating the Monitor
switch. Adjust the Volume, Bass, Treble and ether controls as desired. Note:
During tape playback,the Select control is inoperable.
Duplicatinga Tape
The tape duplicating features of the pre-amplifier allow you to make copies of
previously recorded tapes or edit a recording to remove unwanted commercials
and announcements. Proceed as fellows:
1.
Connect two tape decksto the pre-amplifier ifyou have notalreadydoneso.
2.
If you are playing back the original tape on tape deck A and recording it on
tape deck B, place the Tape Select switch in the A-
B Dub position. If the
original tape is played back on tape deck Band recorded on tape deck A,
place the Tape Select switch in the B--A Dub position.
3.
The recording can be monitored at any time by activating the Monitor
switch.
