SNMP settings are configured using the menus located on the SNMP V3 folder of the web manager. Workstations on
the network that are given SNMP access privileged to the Switch can be restricted with the Security > Trusted Host
window.

SNMP Global Settings

Use this table to globally enable or disable the SNMP Settings on the switch. To view this window, click
Configuration > SNMP Settings > SNMP Global Settings:

SNMP View Table

This window is used to assign views to community strings that define which MIB objects can be accessed by a remote
SNMP manager. To configure SNMP View Settings for the Switch, click Configuration > SNMP S ettings > S NMP
View Table
The following parameters can be set:
Parameter
View Name
Subtree OID
View Type
To implement your new settings, click Apply. To delete an entry click the corresponding Delete button.

Description
Type an alphanumeric string of up to 32 characters. This is used to identify the new SNMP
view being created.
Type the Object Identifier (OID) Subtree for the view. The OID identifies an object tree (MIB
tree) that will be included or excluded from access by an SNMP manager.
Select Included to include this object in the list of objects that an SNMP manager can
access. Select Excluded to exclude this object from the list of objects that an SNMP
manager can access.
