3.2 Basic Information on Troubleshooting

This section describes basic information needed when executing the troubleshooting.

3.2.1 LED Indicators

The control panel has three LEDs that indicate the operating status of the projector.
The following tables show what the indicators mean and how to remedy any problem
indicated.

Abnormality is detected from any of the following elements on
the MA board.
• ROM Error
• RAM Error
• I2C Error
• DR Status Error
• Sub System ROM Error
• Sub System Communication Error
[Remedy]
Disconnect the AC cable once, and reconnect it, then turn the
power on. If the same error occurs, replace the Optical Engine
and MAB set because the MA board is broken. (refer to
"Removing the Optical Engine and MAB (1) (MA Board
Assy.)" (p. 20)
