To change the battery:
1. Turn off the computer and disconnect the power cord from the electrical outlet
2. Remove the computer cover. See "Removing the cover" on page 20.
3. Access the system board components. See "Accessing system board
4. Locate the battery. See "Identifying parts on the system board" on page 24.
5. Remove the old battery.
6. Install the new battery.
7. Replace the computer cover, and connect the cables. See "Replacing the cover

To erase a forgotten password:
