Press the MENU button t select the
(AUDIO SET) by turning the SEL/
PUSH EXEC dial.
AUDIO CH SEL
B CH1,CH2
Select to output sound of CH1 and CH2
from respective channels.
CH1
Select to output sound of CH1 from
channel 1/2.
CH2
Select to output sound of CH2 from
channel 1/2.
z Tip
• When you select [CH1,CH2] and output from
the stereo of your camcorder, sound is mixed
sound of CH1 and CH2.
DV AUDIO MIX
You can monitor the sound recorded on the
tape with audio dubbing or 4ch microphone
recording during playback.
You can select the channel from which the
dubbed sound is outputted during playback.
B CH1,CH2
Select to output only the originally
recorded sound (CH1, CH2).
MIX
Select to synthesize and output the
originally recorded sound (CH1, CH2) and
the sound added afterwards (CH3, CH4).
CH3,CH4
Select to output only the sound added
afterwards.

The default settings are marked with B.
The indicators in parentheses appear when
the items are selected.

PEAKING

ON/OFF
When you set to [ON], the outline of the
subject on the screen is enhanced for easier
focusing. (the default setting is [OFF]).
COLOR
x
[WHITE], [RED], [YELLOW] are
available for the outline color. (the default
setting is [WHITE].)
LEVEL
x
[HIGH], [MIDDLE], [LOW] are available
for the outline level. (the default setting is
[MIDDLE].)
b Note
• The image with enhanced outline is not
recorded on the tape.
z Tip
• This makes focusing easier when used
with expanded focus display (p. 33).
