Channel Selection allows access to all legally permissible channels. It also per-
mits direct, single key operation for the distress and general calling frequency,
Channel 16.

Select the International Distress Channel and
General Calling Frequency.
Select any public channel, for example, Ship to
Ship Channel 77.
The display will change automatically after 3.5
seconds, or immediately if the E key is pressed.
Select a private authorized channel, say Private
Channel 3.
This will be displayed 3.5 seconds after selection,
or immediately after the E key is pressed.
