Connecting Optional
Equipment
For greater enjoyment of your stereo
system, you can connect other components
to the stereo. You can connect:
•an MD player
•a super woofer
•a turntable
•an MD recorder
Connecting an MD player
You can connect an MD player and hear the
sound through the connected speakers.

Press FUNCTION repeatedly to select MD.
Connecting a Super Woofer
You can connect a super woofer to SUPER
WOOFER jack.

Connecting a Turntable

You can connect a turntable to MD IN
jacks.
Before you connect, check which type of
turntable you have.

Press FUNCTION to select MD.
Connecting an MD Recorder
Select one of the following two connections,
depending on the equipment to be
connected and the method recording.
• an MD recorder for digital recording
• an MD recorder for analog recording
To connect an MD recorder for
digital recording
You can record from the CD into the MD
recorder digitally.

You can record from the sound sources of
a turntable
the stereo into the MD recorder in analog
sound.
You can also listen to the sound from the
MD recorder by pressing FUNCTION
repeatedly to select MD.
