• A C R U (Customer Replaceable Units) is identified by a
single asterisk (*) or two asterisks (**) in the C R U ID
column. An N in the C R U ID column m e a n s that the part
is not a C R U . A single asterisk (*) m e a n s that the part i s
a Tier 1 C R U ; two asterisks (**) m e a n that the part is a
Tier 2 C RU.
T ier 1 CRU:
(Example- Mouse, External Keyboard, and Hard-disk
drive with coin screw)
