Enter a pause

If your D1000 is connected to a switchboard, you may need to enter a pause in a stored number.
This gives the switchboard time to get an outside line. A Pause is normally stored after the
switchboard access code (e.g. 9)
1. When storing a number, press and hold
storing the phone number.

View an entry

In standby:
d
1. Press

2. Enter the first letter of the name to search alphabetically then scroll
The name is displayed.

3. Press
to display the number. If there are more than 12 digits, press
the rest of the number.

4. Press
to return to standby.
During a call:

twice to open the phonebook menu.
2. Enter the first letter of the name you want then scroll

On the receiving handset:

(where X is the handset number of the sending handset) is displayed.

If an entry with the same name and number is already stored in the receiving handset, it will not
be copied across.
