USB Ignore Unknown Characters

This option applies only to the HID Keyboard Emulation device and IBM device. Unknown characters are
characters the host does not recognize. Select Send Bar Codes With Unknown Characters to send all bar code
data except for unknown characters. The scanner sounds no error beeps.
If you select Do Not Send Bar Codes With Unknown Characters, for IBM devices, bar codes containing at least
one unknown character are not sent to the host, and the scanner sounds an error beep. For HID Keyboard
Emulation devices, the bar code characters up to the unknown character are sent, and the scanner sounds an
error beep.

(Transmit)

Emulate Keypad

Enable this to send all characters as ASCII sequences over the numeric keypad. For example ASCII A transmits as
"ALT make" 0 6 5 "ALT Break".
