Description
Shows the name of the storage system
Shows the disk ID and path status of each disk controlled by the Multipath Driver
Shows the ID/name of each disk device controlled by the Multipath Driver
Refer to
"3.3.1 Device Identification" (page 49)
Shows the present path status of each disk device using the following format:
disk_id, pci_bus_number, path_status, status_details, path_id
path_status may be any of the following: "active", "standby", "stop", or "fail"
status_details are explained in the table below. If the status details indicate an error situation,
further info may be found in the syslog.
Detail
Online status (Normal status)
Warning status. After warning, items 7 onward may appear.
Path is stopped by the "iompadm change" command.
Fatal fail status. To restore the online path status, fix the root problem, then
use "iompadm restart". Diagnostic restoration is not possible.
LU fail status. Diagnostic restoration may be possible.
Disk was not recognized on server startup.
A hardware error that requires the path to be blocked was detected.
A disconnected cable notice was received from the HBA driver.
A bus busy notice was received from the HBA driver or iSCSI initiator.
A bad target notice was received from the HBA driver or iSCSI initiator.
A timeout notice was received from the HBA driver or iSCSI initiator.
A parity error notice was received from the HBA driver or iSCSI initiator.
A command abort notice was received from the HBA driver or iSCSI initiator.
An internal error notice was received from the HBA driver or iSCSI initiator.
A reset notice was received from the HBA driver or iSCSI initiator.
A transport disrupted notice was received from the HBA driver or iSCSI
initiator.
