settings. For details, see “Room3” of “Setting the
Multi Room” on page 68.
1
Turn the ROOM 3 function on using the OSD
menu settings.
If the ROOM 3 function is on, the ROOM 3
indicator (
) is displayed on the fluorescent
display.
2
Select the desired input source.
3
Adjust the ROOM 3 volume.
Note
• The digital signals (including signals from the USB
connector) cannot be output to the other rooms,
meaning no playback in Room 2 and Room 3.
• The HDMI video signals and the component video
signals cannot be output to the other rooms.
• Even when this receiver enters the standby mode, the
ROOM 2 sources can be played independently.
• When you do not use the ROOM 2 or ROOM 3
function, turn it off to save electricity.
• If you connect the multi-room system kit to the IR
IN jack of this receiver, you can control this receiver
with not only the universal remote control but also the
ROOM 2 remote control in the second room (ROOM
2), too. For details, see “Connecting Multi-room
System Kit” on page 25 and “ROOM 2 Remote Control”
on page 12.
