Opening the crankcase
- With a 5 mm hexagonal wrench undo
the eight screws fixing the half crankcase
- With a 8mm hexagonal wrench undo
the four screws fixing the half crankcase
Tap on the driving shaft to allow the
crankcase halves to separate. Never insert
a screwdriver between the sealing sur-
faces. During this operation, keep the
starter lever beyond half travel, allowing
the inner stop to release.
