ADJUSTING THE REAR BRAKE LOCK
LEVER CABLE
NOTE:
• Place the scooter on a suitable stand.
• Before adjusting the rear brake lock lever,
check the rear brake fluid level.
1. Measure:
• rear brake lock lever cable length a
Out of specification → Adjust.
Rear brake lock lever cable length
45 ~ 47 mm (1.77 ~ 1.85 in)
2. Adjust:
• rear brake lock lever cable length
M MMM M MMM M M MMM M
a. Turn the adjusting nut 1 in direction b or
c until the rear brake lock lever cable
length a is 42 ~ 44 mm (1.65 ~ 1.73 in)
when the rear brake lock lever is released.
b. Slowly apply the rear brake several times.
c. Set the rear brake lock lever and wait more
than 5 minutes.
d. Release the rear brake lock lever.
e. Turn the adjusting nut 1 in direction b or
c until the rear brake lock lever cable
length a is 45 ~ 47 mm (1.77 ~ 1.85 in).
