Example of a hierarchy
The following figure is an example of the
tier structure in the disc. The numbers in
the figure indicate the order in which folder
numbers are assigned and the order to be
played back.

This product assigns folder numbers. The
user cannot assign folder numbers.
If there is a folder that does not contain any
playable file, the folder itself will display in
the folder list but you cannot check any files
in the folder. (A blank list will appear.) Also,
these folders will be skipped without display-
ing the folder number.

DivX

DivX is a compressed digital video format
created by the DivX video codec from DivX,
LLC, a subsidiary of Rovi Corporation. This
unit can play DivX video files recorded on
CD-R/RW/ROM and DVD-R/RW/ROM discs.
Keeping the same terminology as DVD video,
individual DivX video files are called "Titles".
Keep in mind that when naming flies/titles
on a CD-R/RW or a DVD-R/RW disc prior to
burning, they will by played in written order
by default.

AAC is short for Advanced Audio Coding and
refers to an audio compression technology
standard used with MPEG-2 and MPEG-4.
Several applications can be used to encode
AAC files, but file formats and extensions
differ depending on the application which
is used to encode. This unit plays back AAC
files encoded by iTunes.
