8. PREPARING APPLIANCE FOR INSTALLATION

IMPORTANT
Before continuing with the installation of this gas fire the aeration setting on the
burner must be checked. The aeration is factory set and should not require
adjustment. See section 16.1 (Servicing and parts replacement).
1. Unscrew and remove the knurled screw
connecting the slider control arm to the
burner module. Lift the slider control knob,
moving the control arm away from the
burner module.
2. Unscrew and remove the six screws that
secure the window mounting frame and
window assembly. Remove and place away
from the work area (See figure 12).
3. Detach the burner unit from the convection box by removing two screws (See figure
13). Lift the burner unit clear.
