BMC system-event log messages

The BMC system event log, which you can view through the Configuration/Setup
Utility program (see "Viewing error logs from the Configuration/Setup Utility
program" on page 76), contains BMC event message details.
The following illustration shows an example of a BMC log entry as viewed from the
Configuration/Setup Utility program.
The following fields identify an entry in the BMC system-event log:
Entry Number: The position of the entry in the log.
Record ID: The identifier used for record access.
Record Type: This field shows the record type.
Timestamp: The date and time the event was logged.
Entry Details: This field shows the entry detail.

C0: OEM-timestamped-system event. This record type is combined with the E1
record type for SMI events.
C1: OEM-timestamped-system event. This record type is combined with the E0
record type for POST events.
E0 and E1: OEM-non-timestamped-system event.
Generator ID: The device that generated the event.
Sensor Type: The event class or type of sensor.
Translated Event Dir: The event direction.
Translated Sensor Type: The event class or type of sensor.
Translated Event Type: The type of threshold crossing or trigger that produced
the event.
Threshold Setting: The threshold value that produced the event.
Sensor Number: The sensor within the sensor device.
