New Message Received
If you press Back, you dismiss the message.
You can access the message later from the
inbox.
1. Select Read to read the entire message.
Reading a new text message changes its
state from
Inbox.
2. The display shows the incoming message, its number,
sender, and the first line of the text message.
Handling Messages
When in the inbox or after reading the
message, press
following options:
• Select Store and press Select to store the
message as a template in the template list.
• Select Delete and press Yes to delete the
message. When the display shows "Deleted: Message
the current message is deleted from the Inbox. The display
shows the next message (if any) or the message list.
• Select Delete All and press Yes to delete all the
messages. When the display shows "Deleted: All
Messages", all the messages are deleted from the Inbox.
The display shows the next message (if any) or the
Messages sub-menu.
• Select Forward. The old message body serves as the
default message. Press PTT or
Choose the recipient's number and press PTT or
call.
• Select Refresh to re-order the inbox list and see new
messages (if any).
Press Back to return to the previous display.
Long Text Messages cannot be replied, stored nor forwarded.
In the case Reply, Store and Forward options are not displayed.
