An additional toolbar to open up when in journal, for simplicity of pen color change is
found under: View -> Toolbars -> Format When you click on format, you will see this
toolbar pop up:
With this formatting toolbar, you will be able to tap a color with the pen, and then begin
writing in the chosen color.

Sticky Notes

You can use the Sticky Notes Accessory to write and store short notes, phone
numbers, and other reminders. You can place sticky notes directly on your
desktop as quick reminders or to applications such as Word, to add electronic
comments or reminders to your documents.
