6.1.1 Sending Test Mode Commands

To operate this unit directly in Test mode, connect the COM port of the personal computer with CN301 in the DVR R4 MAIN

Assy via interface.
To send commands, use RS-232C general-purpose communication software (e.g. WTERM, CCT). Communication protocols
are as follows:
Baud rate : 38400 (fixed)
Character length : 8 bit
Stop bit : 1 bit
Parity : none
Flow control : none
Others : LSB 1st

6.1.2 Disc Selection

To set the 4.7GB DVR mode, enter the code "5DT" from the communication software.
This operation calls as "Selects 4.7R mode".
It becomes each disc mode when entering the following codes.
