● Flying Start
Purpose:
To reduce time to print the first sheet (FCOT).
Startup conditions:
• When Control Panel Numeric Keypad/Touch Panel is pressed
• When the Main Power Switch is turned ON*
• When recovering from sleep mode to standby mode*

• When the jam process completes*
• When the Right Door is opened/closed*
*1: This control is performed regardless of setting whether to execute Service Mode
COPIER > OPTION > IMG-FIX > FLYING.
Control description:
The temperature control target is set at 105 to 170 deg C and the Fixing Motor is controlled
at half-speed to start operation. The control continues for 15 sec at most until the machine
receives a command to start printing.

To set ON/OFF of flying start temperature control.
