PIM Monitoring

Multicast routers use Protocol Independent Multicast (PIM) to determine which other multicast routers should
receive multicast packets. To find out more information concerning PIM and its configuration on the Switch, see
the IP Multicasting chapter of Section 4, Configuration.

PIM Neighbor Address Table

The PIM Neighbor Address Table contains information regarding each of a router's PIM neighbors. This
screen may be found in the Monitoring folder by clicking Layer 3 Feature > PIM Monitor > PIM Neighbor
Address Table. To search this table, enter either an Interface Name or Neighbor Address into the respective
field and click the Find button. PIM neighbors of that entry will appear in the PIM Neighbor Table below.
