Problem
The ironing table is not
heating.
The iron always heats
to a high temperature.
The ironing table cover
is damp.

Possible cause
Steam has not been
used for a while.
The steamer is
connected to the
tower.
The ironing table is
not clicked into
place on both sides
of the tower.
The appliance is
damaged.
There is a fault with
the appliance.
There is a fault with
the appliance.
Remedy
Operate the steam button *, to
activate the ironing table
heating.
The ironing table does not heat
up when the steamer is
connected.
Click the ironing table into place
on both sides of the tower (see
"Assembling").
Call Miele Service.
Call Miele Service.
Remove the ironing table cover
and allow it to dry.
Replace the ironing table cover
(see "Replacing the ironing
table cover").
If the ironing cover gets damp
again, call Miele Service.
