Using System Functions from Outside
(DISA: Direct Inward System Access)
If this function has been configured (consult service
personnel), you can set up external outgoing calls from
outside the system, just like an internal user. You can
also activate and deactivate the following functions in
your system:
• Reset services, code: #0
• Call forwarding, code: *11/#11
• Forwarding - trunk, code: *64/#64
• Changeover on/Changeover off
code: *66/#66
• Change PIN, code: *93
• Open door, code: *61
• Do not disturb, code: *97/#97
• Speed dial, code: *7
• Room monitor,
• Night answer, code: *44/#44
• Control Relay, code: *90/#90
Precondition: You have a telephone that uses tone di-
aling (DTMF dialing) or you can switch your telephone
to tone dialing. The telephone is not connected to the
system.
o
Set up a call to the HiPath 1220. Enter the station num-
ber (DISA MSN; consult service personnel).
o
Wait for a continuous tone (if necessary switch the tele-
phone to tone dialing), then enter the internal number
that has been assigned to you and the associated PIN.
o
Wait for a dial tone and then enter the code, such as
97 for Do not disturb on. Make other inputs as neces-

sary; (refer to the operating instructions for pulse and
DTMF telephones).

Dial the external number.
