Using Safety Cable During Installation

The HDZ Series PTZ camera includes an eyelet for attaching a safety cable to securely fix the
camera to the mounting structure (see
cable (such as a 3/32-in. [2.4 mm] plastic coated aircraft cable) to secure the camera to the
building structure. This will prevent the camera from falling during installation. The cable must
be strong enough to support the weight of the camera (indoor model: 4.9 lb. [2.2 kg], outdoor
model: 5.7 lb. [2.6 kg]).
