The actual device index for this device is determined
in the ASSIGN.SYS file, which associates a device
index with a GIOS module (device driver).

LINESTYLE
The IDS printers have five hardware linestyles.
Linestyle 1 is solid, and linestyles 2 - 5 are combina-
tions of dashed and dotted lines.
COLOR
The IDS printers with the color option support eight
colors. It is assumed that the process ribbon is being
used to allow color mixing. The printer does not
allow the colors to be redefined. The association of
color indices with the displayed color is as follows:
