Possible Cause(s)
The air intake vent is blocked.
There is a buildup of minerals
or bacteria inside the unit, or
there is leftover residue from
the manufacturing process.
There is build up of common
airborne bacteria inside the
tank.

Possible Solution
Place the humidifier on a hard,
flat surface, and make sure the
vent on the bottom of the unit
is clear of obstruction.
Clean the unit according to the
instructions above.
Clean the tank with a
disinfectant. Clean the water
tank regularly and change the
water on a daily basis to avoid
future buildup.
