The Ring Delay

setting sets the

machine rings before
it answers in Fax
Only and Fax/Tel
modes.
Sets the length of the

If you have external
or extension
telephones on the
same line as the
machine, choose the
maximum number of
rings.
If the call is a fax,
then your machine
will receive it;
however, if it is a
voice call the
machine will sound
the F/T ring (a fast
double-ring) for the
time you have set in
the F/T Ring Time
setting. If you hear
the F/T ring it means
that you have a voice
caller on the line.
The machine can
receive a fax
automatically, even if
you answer the call.
- The machine will only
