Receiving a fax

Receive Modes

By factory default, the factory setting of Receive Mode is "Fax". Your machine will automatically
receive any faxes that are sent to it. There are four receive modes of this machine as below. For
more detailed information on the receive modes, see Using receive modes uu page 35.

Fax Manual
External TAD
To set a receive mode follow the instructions below:

Press Menu.

Press a or b to display Initial Setup.

Press Initial Setup.
d
Press a or b to display Receive Mode.
e
Press Receive Mode.
f
Press Fax Auto, Fax/Tel, External TAD or Fax Manual.
g
Press Stop/Exit.
The LCD will display the current receive mode.
