Needle stop position setting
The machine always stops with the needle in the down
position except when sewing buttonholes, specialty stitch-
es, monograms, etc. However you can select the needle
stop position to up or down.
Turn the jog dial to select down or up position. Press the
confirm button to register the new setting.
The LED signal e is turned on when the down position is
selected.
The LED signal e is turned off when the up position is
selected.

Start-up speed setting
The machine will start running slowly and the sewing
speed will gradually increase to maximum when pressing
the start/stop button.
You can select the desired start-up speed from slow, nor-
mal or high.
Turn the jog dial to select the speed. Press the confirm
button to register the new setting.
Resetting personal stitch length and width to default
All the customized stitch length and width settings can be
reset to the original settings (factory settings).
Press and hold the clear key or clear icon to reset all the
settings to default.
