To replace the storage drive, do the following:
1. Disable the built-in battery. See "Disabling the built-in battery" on page 121.
2. Close the computer display, and turn the computer over.
3. Remove the battery pack. See "Replacing the removable battery" on page 122.
4. Remove the base cover assembly. See "Replacing the base cover assembly" on page 130.
5. Disconnect the drive cable from the system board and remove the screw that secures the drive.
6. Lift the drive by the screw-tab side and pull the drive out of the drive bay slightly 1 . Gently pull out the
drive cable through the storage-drive stabilizer bar 2 and then remove the drive.
