To setup an external alarm output
1. In the Alarm menu go to the Alarm Output list box. Press Enter or left-click the mouse to select one
of the alarm outputs listed.
2. Go to the Timeout list box. Select the time delay for the alarm output from the list shown. The
time delay options are:

Transparent mode (default): If there is an alarm input, there will be an alarm output.

Acknowledge: The alarm output will not stop until the menu option Alarm Output Stop is
activated in the System menu. See page 93 for further information.
Caution: An alarm can only be acknowledged locally. Do not select this option if the DVSR xU
is controlled over a network.


3. Go to the Alarm Output schedule button and ress Enter or left-click the mouse. The Alarm Output
Schedule submenu appears. See Figure 48.
